Ayayamu's schoolmates are a group of nine hamsters who attended the same academy as Ayayamu. Though they appeared to be close with Ayayamu at first, celebrating Ayayamu's birthday with her, Ayayayamu eventually caught them mocking her behind her back. The betrayal left a deep scar on Ayayamu's heart, resulting in her shutting herself away in the Library tower and lost all her belief in friendship.

- The schoolmates are among the few antagonists in the Hamtaro franchise who do not end up apologizing, or turning to the "good side", by the end of their appearance.
